About Us

“SCALE”is a student organization working in partnership with “IUCEE”

SCALE was founded in January 2017 by few engineering graduates from India. With a simple aim to bring all engineering students together to work towards the society and its development through various aspects of Engineering Education. The organization later partnered with Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) and also became a member of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) in the same year. Since its incubation, the organization has conducted more than 30+ workshops PAN India and about 10+ workshops have been taken under the SCALE banner by various member institutions with 4000+ students being a part of this.

Fostering student leadership is a critical component in shaping the future of engineering education. SCALE provides IFEES and the GEDC more than a window into the perspective of students, they provide us opportunities to collaborate with thoughtful leaders knowledgeable of the student context in engineering education in India. SCALE provides us invaluable insight as we navigate the complex realities shaping engineering education around the world.

It is my pleasure to be associated with SCALE (Student Consortium for Advancement & Learning in Engineering Education). SCALE is a very important collaborator with IUCEE (Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education) in our joint efforts to improve the quality of engineering graduates in India. Our focus is on transforming engineering education so that the graduates become more employable as well as leaders and entrepreneurs. We have been working with SCALE in order to achieve this objective.
I am extremely impressed with their Annual Student Conference held on January 6-8, 2018 at Madurai. More than 200 students from over 20 colleges from all over India became engaged in working on projects related to the needs of several communities in the region.
